Tina Roberts is a funeral celebrant in Plymouth offering compassionate, personal tributes across Devon, Cornwall and the South West, working with your family and funeral director every step of the way.
Mourning our loved ones is one of the most important things we do. Although it can feel overwhelming, I am here to help guide you gently through the process of arranging a fitting service.
Having lost both my own parents within 7 days of each other, I understand deeply what families go through at this time. That experience is at the heart of everything I do as a funeral celebrant.
Furthermore, I work closely with your family and funeral director to create exactly the service you want, whether at the crematorium, graveside, or another meaningful location across Plymouth, Devon or Cornwall.
Above all, I take time to understand the life, personality and wishes of the person being remembered, and craft a service that truly reflects them.
In addition, I collaborate closely with your funeral director so everything runs smoothly, taking as much pressure off the family as possible.
Services can be held at a crematorium, graveside, or any location that feels right for the family.
For those choosing a direct cremation, I can help arrange a separate remembrance service at a time that suits the family.
This fee covers the initial consultation, all preparation, and conducting the service.

"Tina was very professional. She made the three of us feel at ease at a very sad time. I would strongly recommend TR Special Ceremonies."
M. Lawrence, April 2024"Very friendly, approachable and professional. I would recommend Tina."
J. Bull, October 2024Yes — the majority of services I conduct are non-religious, though I can incorporate readings, hymns or prayers if that is what the family wishes.
Absolutely. Readings, poems and tributes from family members are a beautiful part of many services and are always welcome.
A remembrance service is a separate ceremony held after the funeral, for families to gather and celebrate a life. It is particularly suited to those who have chosen a direct cremation with no service at the time.
Simply call or email. I will respond as quickly as possible and we can have a gentle, no-pressure conversation about what you need. You can also find out more about funeral celebrant services on the Celebrant Directory.
