In 2021 I was able to hold a fabulous ceremony for Graham and Jen Fuller, read more about it below.
Tina created a very personal ceremony, given with warmth, love, and good humour.
Mr & Mrs Fuller
Whilst the Covid-19 Pandemic deprived us of the original wedding we wanted, we still went ahead with the legal marriage in July 2020 to ensure we could have elderly family members with us on our special day. We had arranged with the venue to have a celebration in July 2021 when we hoped the situation would be safer.
Having had the legal ceremony already, this freed us up to create a day that was truly our own – quirks as well! We wanted to recreate the ceremony for the guests who had missed out the previous year. Tina is a very close and dear friend, and one we knew we could trust and depend on to give us another special day. Tina is a wonderful celebrant.
Whilst she already knew us very well, she still sat down with us to prise out more about our relationship, our love, and our family – showing the importance and care she took in planning our celebration ceremony. She even printed our vows to each other for us, so we didn’t have to worry about forgetting them or reading them off our phones.
Having had the legal marriage the previous year, which was very structured and filled with all the legal language you must go through, but we found the choices very restrictive and not overly personal so there was very little of us and our sense of fun. Tina’s ceremony was in a different league. She was given the freedom to create the ceremony however she thought best – we didn’t want to know what was going to be said or when, so it was fresh to us as well as our wedding party.
With this freedom, she created a beautiful ceremony. Tina created a very personal ceremony, given with warmth, love, and good humour. The staff at the venue commented to us that it was the simply best ceremony they had ever had there with a beautiful balance of emotion and laughter.
